Qualifications and Training

A 5 year Dowty Apprenticeship in Engineering . Covering all aspects of Aircraft Accessory Engineering, from Machine Shop Inspection to the assembly of complex Aircraft Equipment. On completion finishing as a Stress Engineer.

I have inspection, supervisory and quality management experience in all areas. From technical appraisal of tenders and contracts to considering deviations of forgings and negotiating with customers and vendors where required.

I am experienced in creating and maintaining a total quality systems, liaison with vendors and customers to discuss problems and advise on solutions where appropriate.

Further experience includes the training of quality and inspection personnel in reporting, project management and quality appraisal.
Gear Calculation Spur, Helical and Bevel gears formulating computer programs to allow others to be effective in this area.
CMM programming, Training of Inspectors in the use of CMMs and able to carry out complex inspection both from first principles and with the use of CMMs

Production Management : Control of all aspects of a Management Facility.
